Blessing Children with Love and Care, Foundation is a Christ-centred orphanage operated from Canada, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of orphaned children in Honduras, Central America.
Nuestra Visión
We believe that through sponsorship, the Honduran orphans will receive a home that provides nourishment, nurturing, and a spiritual education that will positively impact their future. This empowerment will help break the vicious cycle of child poverty and shine Jesus’ Light into the Honduran dark streets.

Apadrinamiento infantil
Nuestra labor se centra en apoyar a los niños del orfanato en Honduras, proporcionando ayuda financiera para cubrir sus necesidades básicas, educación, salud y actividades recreativas.
Educación y Desarrollo de Competencias
Nuestro compromiso es empoderar a la niñez huérfana a través de la educación y el desarrollo de habilidades, preparándolos para un futuro lleno de oportunidades y éxito.

Gloria Martins
Co-Founder, President
As co-founder and president, Gloria provides leadership and direction to the boards, ensuring that the vision and mission remains central to all decisions made on behalf of the orphanage. Just as she works closely with the board, Gloria also works with the Honduran lawyer and pastor, as well as the project manager, overseeing all aspects of the orphanage as it is being built. Gloria’s desire is that Blessing the Children LC blossoms into a thriving organization with support from both Canadian and Honduran supporters.

Brand and Awareness Director
With a God-given gift for personal connection, Karen is the one to talk to about all things Blessing The Children LC. She directly connects with those who are interested in supporting the orphanage, and is passionate about spreading the word on the orphanage and it’s vision.

Legal Representative In Honduras
Abogado en Honduras. Asegura la implementación y el cumplimiento, por parte del personal del orfanato, de las políticas y procedimientos establecidos por el Fundador y Presidente, en estricto apego a las leyes de Canadá y Honduras (cuando aplique).
Gabriel Martins
Co-Founder, Director
With a heart for the everyday operation of the orphanage, Gabriel’s love of the Spanish language and culture is helpful as he communicates with the project manager in Honduras to ensure the project is moving forward. His natural gift with connecting with people benefits the orphanage as he works tirelessly to fundraise on behalf of the orphanage for it’s future endeavours.
Amy Potocki
Board of Director, Secretary, Director of Child Sponsorship
As a former school teacher, Amy’s passion is with the children who live at the orphanage. She ensures that each child in the care of Blessing The Children LC is benefitting from the sponsorships, including education and well-being. Amy is also the secretary of the board, organizing the minutes for each board member to continue to be productive and organized in their role.
Peter Bartsch
Board Director, Treasurer, Director of Missions
Peter, the business-minded board member, prepares the policies and leads the planning for any volunteer trips to Honduras to work on the orphanage. He is also responsible for monitoring and tracking all donations, funds and expenses used in support of the day-to-day operation and building of the orphanage.
David Potocki
Director of Marketing
David’s background in graphic design and marketing is significant in making all digital and print material for Blessing The Children LC look professional and appealing. His aim is to communicate the importance of the vision and mission of the orphanage, and to inspire involvement with his creative designs.
